How to Replace the CMOS Battery on an ITX Motherboard?

I'm trying to figure out if I can replace the CMOS battery on my X570 Pro Wifi ITX motherboard. I've read that the battery is located behind a plastic cover, and right now, my CMOS battery is dead. This means my PC resets the BIOS every time I boot up, including the date and time being off and virtualization being disabled. Since I heavily rely on WSL for Linux work, this is becoming really frustrating. Some people online say that the CMOS battery is soldered and can't be replaced. Is it really worth the hassle to remove everything from my case, including the GPU and other components, to try to access the CMOS battery? Or is it better to just consider replacing the motherboard?

If that plastic plate is screwed down, just unscrew it and take a look! It might be simpler than you think, and you could access the battery directly. Sometimes these things are easier than they appear.

I've highlighted the plate I'm talking about here: [Screenshot](https://postimg.cc/K4dsRP89)!
