Which GPU Should I Choose for 1080p Gaming?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC's graphics and could really use some advice. Here's a brief rundown of my specs: I have an i5 11600K processor, 16GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD, and a 1TB HDD. I built my PC back in 2021 but held off on getting a GPU because prices were insane. Now, I'm ready to buy!

I'm considering a few options: the 4060, 5060, Intel B570, and the 3060 with 12GB of VRAM. I initially thought about AMD cards, but they seem to draw more power, and I would need a new PSU for that. The B570 caught my eye because it's priced at about $285, but it might bottleneck with my CPU, so I've scratched that for now.

Currently, my top choices are the 4060, 5060, and 3060. Just a heads up, finding the 4060 has been a bit of a challenge. I plan on gaming at 1080p, so I'm not too worried about the 8GB VRAM limitation.

Here's a quick look at the prices I'm seeing:
- 4060: $318 to $341 (around 28K to 30K INR)
- 3060: $285 (about 25K INR)
- 5060: $341 to $364 (30K to 33K INR)
- RX 7600: $273 (around 24K INR)

Any recommendations or insights would be awesome!

The Radeon RX 9060 XT could be a solid option! It has a TDP of just 160W, so it should work with your 550W PSU without issue. Plus, it performs well for 1080p gaming. Just keep in mind if you want something with better VRAM, the 16GB version might stretch your budget a bit more than the 8GB model.

I noticed that you mentioned power consumption, but the TDP for the 5060 is only 150W. Even the 5060 Ti and RX 9060 XT are just a bit higher at around 170-180W. Your PSU should handle those just fine! Just check current pricing and availability; the RX 9060 XT might be the better performer, but you're right to consider future games and their VRAM needs!

Yeah, the 9060 XT does sound appealing, but I’m kinda hesitant about spending too much. I’ll definitely check out the 8GB version since it’s more budget-friendly.

Have you had a look at gputiful? They have some great comparisons for the GPUs you're considering. It’s a useful resource to help weigh the options. The 3060 is decent for 1080p gaming too, but make sure to look at those performance stats before making a final decision!
