Looking for a Quiet PC Build Under $2000 CAD – Any Recommendations?

I'm planning to build a new PC and want it to be quieter than my previous gaming laptop, which shouldn't be too hard to achieve. My budget is around $2000 CAD. Here are some details about my current build: I'm considering the AMD 5070 graphics card, but I'm tempted to upgrade to the 5070 Ti for an extra $300. I'm also going with an ASRock motherboard to save costs, but if anyone has a better budget-friendly suggestion, I'd love to hear it. Additionally, I'm thinking about fan placement—I'm considering using three fans at the bottom, three at the top, one at the back, and one on the side. I figure more fans might mean they can run at lower speeds, reducing noise overall. I've put together a parts list on PCPartPicker; feel free to check it out. Let me know your thoughts!

I highly recommend avoiding the ASRock motherboard if you're going with the Ryzen 9000 CPU. I'd suggest looking into the Gigabyte B850M GAMING X WIFI6E; it should offer better stability and performance. Also, what resolutions and games are you planning to use? That could influence your GPU choice too!

I'll mainly be gaming on a 4K TV, but I expect to lower the resolution for most games. I'm looking at playing FIFA, Call of Duty, and New World.

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely check out that motherboard.

I've got to mention the SSD – the Crucial P3 Plus has QLC flash, which tends to wear out quicker and can get slow after some time. I recommend looking into TLC options, like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3 or the WD Blue SN5000; they'll be much more durable and perform better in the long run.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll look into those options.
