Is the RX 7900 XTX a good deal compared to the 5070 Ti and 5080?

I found a good deal for the RX 7900 XTX at Newegg for $799. I'm curious if ASRock is a reliable brand for AMD GPUs. Should I choose the 7900 XTX, or are there better options like the 9700 XT, 5070 Ti, or 5080?

I'd opt for the 9070 XT or 5070 Ti since they're newer and offer better price-to-performance ratios compared to the 5080.

Honestly, at $799, I wouldn't go for the 7900 XTX. If you're in the U.S., the 9070 XT has been on sale for about $650 lately, and I think the 5070 Ti is worth considering too if it drops to around $750-$800. The 7900 XTX is solid, but there are better options for power efficiency at that price.

If I had to do it again, I’d still pick the 7900 XTX just to avoid Nvidia's dominance in the market. But if you're looking for value, the 5070 Ti is a solid pick considering its price performance. It's all about what you need!

For $799, I'd also lean towards the 9070 XT or 5070 Ti. They're the better buy right now.

ASRock GPUs are decent, but I wouldn't recommend the new 7900 XTX unless you specifically need the VRAM. There are definitely better choices available right now for that kind of money.

I'd recommend going for the 5070 Ti or the 9070 XT. Both are performing similarly to the XTX but are cheaper, especially since their prices are trending closer to MSRP.

I love my 7900 XTX, but I went with a Sapphire model. Just throwing that out there!
