I'm looking for some advice on choosing a GPU. I live in Argentina where the prices can be pretty crazy. I'm considering the RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, or the RX 9070 XT to pair with my Ryzen 5 9600x and a 1440p 180Hz monitor. Here are the prices:
- RTX 5070 Palit Infinity: $670
- RTX 5070 Ti Palit GamingPro: $980
- RX 9070 XT ASRock Steel Legend: $780

Right now, I have an RTX 3060 Ti, which I upgraded from a GTX 1660 Super. I lean toward the 5070 Ti because I've always used NVIDIA and I'm comfortable with their software. Plus, I like having features like ray tracing, DLSS, and frame generation. However, I'm also considering saving the extra money from the 5070 Ti to potentially upgrade to an X3D Ryzen in the future. What do you think?

If gaming is your main priority, I’d suggest the RX 9070 XT. But if you're planning to do some work along with gaming, the 5070 Ti might be better for productivity since NVIDIA tends to have better performance in work-related tasks.

That makes sense. I'm mostly gaming but do some light productivity too. If the AMD card isn't terrible for that, I think I might just go with the 9070 XT.

Honestly, I think you should go for the RX 9070 XT at those prices. The 5070 really isn't worth it unless they drop to around $400, especially for 1080p gaming. The 9070 XT just gives you better value for gaming at your resolution.
