Why won’t YouTube open on my smart TV?

Recently, I tried to watch something on my smart TV by launching YouTube, but it crashes immediately and won't open at all. I've already attempted several solutions, including changing the Wi-Fi connection and checking for updates, but it appears everything is up to date. I haven't linked my Gmail account to the TV, which means I can't uninstall and reinstall the app to see if that would help. Does anyone have an idea of what might be going on?

Have you tried uninstalling the YouTube app and then reinstalling it? That usually clears up a lot of issues! Just go to your app list, remove it, and then download it again. It might just fix the problem for you.

I know it might sound a bit silly, but have you tried unplugging the TV for a couple of minutes and then plugging it back in? It seems like a good power cycle can sometimes solve issues like this. I had a similar problem where my TV wouldn't load any apps, but a quick reboot did the trick!

I already tried that a million times! It didn't work, so I think the issue is definitely with YouTube itself.
