I'm having trouble opening JPEG files on my Mac while connected to my home AT&T fiberoptic internet. It works fine at my workplace, so I'm wondering what could be going wrong at home. Any suggestions to fix this issue?

It sounds like your router's firewall might be blocking the JPEGs since they open fine at work. Double-check your firewall settings to see if there are any restrictions set up that could be causing this.

Yeah, it is my personal laptop, and it works without issues at work. I checked the firewall settings but didn't see anything that looked suspicious.

Have you tried power cycling your AT&T router and modem? Unplugging them for about 5 minutes can help reset any glitches that might be causing the problem.

Could you clarify a bit more about what's happening when you try to open the JPEGs? Usually, you shouldn't need an internet connection to open them unless you’re trying to access them online.
