I'm having a strange issue with my laptop where it just stops responding when I try to use it on battery power. I've tried various solutions, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Just to add, it can take different lengths of time for the laptop to completely freeze—sometimes just a minute or it could take longer like 10-15 minutes. When it does freeze, the only option is to press the power button.

It sounds like your battery might not be connected properly or could be faulty. Have you tried removing the battery and putting it back in? Also, check if Windows recognizes it as charging and displays the battery level correctly.

If you've tested the battery using software and it shows that it's functioning normally, there may still be an issue with the system recognizing it when not plugged in. Have you checked your power settings or any updates that might affect battery performance?
