I'm in the process of building my new PC and I want to know if I can reuse my old storage drives. It's been 7 years since I built my previous PC, which includes an old SSD and HDD. Can I incorporate them into my new rig?

Absolutely! As long as your SSD and HDD are SATA drives, they should work fine in your new setup. For the M.2, I'd recommend using it as a secondary drive instead of the primary one because it may not perform as well as newer models. Just keep in mind that some motherboards only support certain types of M.2 drives, like SATA or NVMe, so check what your board supports.
Your 2.5" SATA SSD and HDD should work without any issues. For the M.2 SSD, remember that M.2 is a form factor, not a protocol. Some older M.2 drives use the SATA protocol, and many newer motherboards have dropped support for those. Also, if you’ve used BitLocker on your old drives, make sure you have the recovery keys to access your data on the new machine.
It really depends on what you have. M.2 is just a form factor, and there are M.2 drives that use either SATA or NVMe protocols. Many modern motherboards don’t support SATA M.2 drives anymore, so you’ll want to make sure yours does.
Looks like some folks misunderstood your post! You can definitely use the SSD and HDD, as long as they’re SATA, since IDE connectors are pretty much a thing of the past. I suggest using the M.2 as your boot drive for better performance with demanding applications like games, while using the SSD for everyday tasks and the HDD for backups.
