I recently upgraded my laptop with a 16GB DDR5 4800MHz SODIMM RAM for my Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 15ARH7, which has an AMD Ryzen 5 6600H processor and initially came with 8GB of stock RAM. Everything seemed fine for the first couple of days, but then I started experiencing frequent BSODs (Blue Screens of Death). These crashes happen randomly during gaming, browsing, and even when the device is idle. I've already tried numerous troubleshooting methods, including system file checks, memory diagnostics, and even a clean Windows install. I used Memtest86 and Memtest64, both of which reported no issues with the RAM. I've also made sure that the RAM specifications match the device's requirements as per Lenovo's compatibility guidelines. Can anyone help me figure out if the new RAM might be faulty, or if there's something about my setup that's not compatible?

Make sure to check your motherboard's compatibility list for the new RAM. Just because it matches the specs doesn't mean it will work seamlessly. Sometimes, certain models have specific RAM that is known to cause issues. It’s worth looking into!
It sounds like you’re already doing a lot to troubleshoot! One key thing you should do is check for minidump files after the BSODs. These files can provide insights into what's causing the crashes. You can usually find them in C:WindowsMinidump. Just zip them up and share them on a file-sharing site so others can help analyze the crash logs. It’s super helpful to have multiple dumps for a clearer picture.

Thanks for your response! I did check the list, and I bought RAM that was mentioned as compatible in the manual. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been smooth sailing!
