I've been gaming on an HDD for a while because I'm short on SSD space, but the performance hit is really frustrating. I experience issues like in-game stuttering and longer load times. Is there an HDD I can get that will minimize these impacts on my gaming experience? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

If you use Steam, consider keeping your currently active games on your SSD and moving the rest to the HDD. This way, you can have smoother performance where it counts, and moving them around isn't too difficult—definitely easier than downloading everything again.
Honestly, HDDs are pretty outdated for gaming now. With SSD prices being so low—around $45-50 for 1TB and $80-90 for 2TB—there's really no reason to use an HDD for games anymore. Go SSD if you can!
You won’t really find an HDD that can match the performance of a modern SSD. If budget is a concern, it's worth it to invest in a larger SSD. They've become much more affordable and can really change your gaming experience!
Unfortunately, HDDs are inherently slower than SSDs because they're designed for data density. They're just not built for gaming performance, and you might find it hard to get one that won't affect your games. I highly recommend looking into SSDs—prices have come down a lot recently, and you can score a 1TB SSD for under $100 now.
If you’re set on getting an HDD, look for one that spins at 7200 RPM. Just keep in mind that regular maintenance, like defragmenting your drive, can help a bit with performance, but it won't be anywhere near SSD levels.
That sounds like a solid plan! I’ve done that myself and it really helps with load times.
