I built a powerful gaming and editing PC recently and managed to keep the humidity levels between 45-55% during the summer using a dehumidifier and air conditioning. Now that fall and winter are here in the Northeast, the humidity has dropped down to about 25-30%. I've purchased a Levoit Superior 6000S evaporative humidifier to help raise the levels back to around 45-55%. I'm wondering if it's safe to operate this humidifier in the same room as my gaming PC. The humidifier will be positioned about six feet away from the PC, directed upwards and not directly at the computer. Is there any risk of moisture damage to my PC?

It should be fine. Just keep an eye on the humidity level. If it gets too high, it could lead to condensation on your components, but with it being six feet away, you should be alright. Just make sure to vent the humidity properly and you'll be good to go!
Generally, it should be okay as long as you monitor the humidity levels. Just be cautious about letting humidity get too high; condensation on surfaces can lead to mold and potential damage to your walls or equipment. As long as you maintain a good balance and avoid excessive humidity around your PC, you should be fine!
Are your fans set to pull air in or push air out? That can also affect how much moisture is circulating in the room.

My front fans are intake, and the top and back ones are exhaust.
