I'm currently facing issues accessing the Public Folders section within Exchange Online for my clients. Everything was working fine earlier today, and I was able to create public folders and mail addresses through PowerShell. However, now I'm encountering an 'Internal Server Error' when I try to access the Public Folders in the Exchange Admin Panel. Can any other administrators of Public Folders on Exchange Online confirm if they are experiencing similar problems?

I spoke with Microsoft Support, and they mentioned this issue is tied to a known problem, tagged as 'MO1176905'. Some admins and users have been having trouble accessing various Microsoft 365 services. They're expecting to provide an update by the first or second week of November, which isn't great. Apparently, this might be because of the depreciation of Exchange On-Prem migrations, like Exchange 2010.
I've noticed a significant spike in outages for Azure on Down Detector right now. It could be linked to the problems you're seeing.
We're experiencing the same issues here. I can't add permissions using PowerShell and keep getting that internal server error. It started for us on Monday morning too.
