Is it worth swapping my 9060XT for a used RTX 4070?

I just finished building my PC with a 9060XT 16GB, and I'm really happy with it. I've been offered a used RTX 4070 for $300, which sounds like a good deal. However, I'm concerned about the lower VRAM and don't want to make a mistake since I'm not fully updated on the latest hardware. Should I go for the swap or stick with what I have?

If you can return the 9060XT, you might consider it. The 4070 is a solid card, but I'd only go for it if you're focused on high-performance gaming. Otherwise, just enjoy what you built!

If the 4070 is in good shape and you trust the seller, it could be a decent backup or secondary card. They tend to sell for around $450, so you might even make a profit later on. Plus, it could be a nice gift for someone in the family. Just think about how you would use it!

Nah, I agree. With only a slight performance boost and less VRAM, it doesn't seem worth the $300 to me, plus there's the hassle of selling your 9060XT. Just stick with your current setup!

I wouldn’t do it. The 4070 might be about 20% faster, but it has less VRAM, which could keep you from maximizing performance in some games. For $300, it’s just not worth it.
