I'm having a frustrating issue with video playback on my Windows 11 computer. No matter where I'm watching videos—whether it's through a web browser, file explorer, media player, or even streaming sites like Spotify—everything keeps pausing and playing back at an incredibly fast rate, making it almost unwatchable. I've already unplugged my keyboard and mouse to rule out any random inputs and also ensured that all my drivers are up to date. My graphics card is a 1050 Ti. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It might be worth closing down any applications you're not using while watching videos. It's possible that another program is sending unwanted media key inputs. If that doesn't help, try rebooting your computer in safe mode to see if the issue persists without other software running.
Have you checked the status of your hard drive or SSD? Sometimes playback issues can be related to storage problems. You could use CrystalDiskInfo to check the health of your drives. By the way, I think your 1050 Ti is getting a bit old, too!
Sorry, what is CrystalDiskInfo?

I've already tried closing everything else. I’ll definitely give safe mode a shot.
