How to Remove Adobe Reader Without Affecting Other Acrobat Versions?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out how to remove only Adobe Reader from user devices. Recently, Adobe rebranded the reader as just Acrobat to align with the Creative Suite, and this has caused some confusion. I attempted using the acroremoval tool and various PowerShell commands, but these approaches either remove the full Creative Suite Pro version or do nothing at all. I deployed the reg key bUpdateToSingleApp, but many devices had already upgraded before that. I'm considering running the tool through Intune while excluding devices with the Creative Suite installed. Has anyone dealt with this issue and can offer any advice or solutions?

The new single app model means that Acrobat Reader, Standard, and Pro are all essentially the same program; it just depends on the license key tied to the user account. If you change a user's license from Pro to Standard, they lose some features when they reopen the app. So unfortunately, aside from the license linked to a user, there’s really no straightforward way to just uninstall "Reader" without impacting the other versions.

So I guess I'll just have to rely on the information about who has a paid license, then?
