I recently loved my PC build, which includes a MicroATX board and didn't require WiFi because I was using a wired connection. I had a powerful 6800xt GPU, so I saved some money by not adding WiFi capabilities. However, I've moved to a new place that doesn't have wired internet ports available, so now I'm in the market for a WiFi adapter for my desktop. I thought about getting a PCIe card, but I'm worried it won't fit alongside my 6800xt in the MicroATX case. So now I'm uncertain if I should just get a USB WiFi adapter instead, or if I need to replace my motherboard. What do you all think? Are USB WiFi adapters good enough for what I need?

USB WiFi adapters work pretty well, as long as you have a decent signal and a good chipset. You shouldn't have any major issues unless you're super far from your router or in a tricky spot. Just make sure it supports USB 3.0 for the best speeds!
You could also look for NVMe adapters that connect directly to your motherboard, which some boards come with. They might be a bit tricky to find, but it could be an alternative to the USB option if you're worried about space.
Yeah, I think you meant PCIe instead of NVMe, right?
