WhatsApp Not Opening on iPhone 13 – Anyone Else Having This Issue?

I'm having trouble getting the WhatsApp app to open on my iPhone 13. It just gets stuck on a black screen when I try to launch it. Here's what I've already tried:
- Restarting the phone
- Force quitting the app
- Updating to the latest iOS
- Offloading the WhatsApp app

I've seen that others have mentioned experiencing similar problems with their iPhones. Is anyone else having this issue? I'm looking for any possible fixes or suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Yup, experiencing the same thing on my iPhone 14. This seems to be a wider issue. Not sure what’s going on, but I’m hoping an update fixes it soon. Hang tight!

Yeah, I think it’s app-related. Hopefully they’ll roll out a patch shortly.

Same trouble on my iPhone 15. It’s been super annoying. I've been resetting my phone too, nothing seems to help! I'm hoping someone finds a workaround soon.

I had the same issue on my 12, and it just went away after a few hours. Maybe it’s a temporary glitch?

I totally get your frustration! I was stuck on that black screen for ages too. Have you tried deleting the app and then reinstalling it? That seemed to do the trick for me! Just make sure to back up your chats if you can.

I did that too! It fixed my issue. Just remember to check that you have your chat backup on iCloud before you delete it!

I faced this problem too! Try turning off your Wi-Fi and using cellular data instead. That made a difference for me.
