I recently got a new laptop, and my Office was set up using a Microsoft account. However, I forgot the password because I accidentally mistyped it when trying to create a new account. I didn't set up two-step authentication or provide any recovery email or phone number. My account is still logged in on Windows and I can access Outlook, but when I tried filling out the recovery form, it said there wasn't enough information to verify my identity. Any advice on how to recover my password?

If changing it through your account settings doesn’t work, you might want to try using a password manager if you were using one prior. They can sometimes help recall or recover stored passwords. Also, keep a record of your account recovery info for next time. Good luck!
You’re in a bit of a pickle without recovery options, but since you’re logged in on your laptop, you might be able to change the password through your account settings. Just go to your account in Windows settings and look for the password change option. That might help you reset it without needing the old password!
