Hey everyone, I recently bought a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 laptop, but it's suddenly stopped working. I took it to the service center, and they said a PF resistor has burned out, which means I need to replace the whole motherboard. The thing is, they mentioned they only replace motherboards and don't fix the individual components. I'm not sure what to do next. Any advice?

If your laptop is still under warranty, it shouldn't matter how they fix it. Just make sure to push for a replacement instead of just repairs. Warranty services should cover that!
Not sure what rule 2.2 refers to, but at this point, you'll probably have to weigh your options. You could look into getting the motherboard replaced, or maybe even check with another service center to see if they’re willing to fix the resistor instead. It might save you some cash!
I’m curious about that rule too. What does it say?

Yeah, but in this case, it's not in warranty, so that's not really an option.
