Hey everyone! Ever since I updated my NVIDIA graphics driver, I've been having a serious issue with my file explorer. It simply won't open at all, and my taskbar disappears whenever I try. This problem is preventing me from running certain downloads, including reinstalling my graphics driver because I can't access it through the file explorer. I've already attempted to uninstall and reinstall the NVIDIA driver and checked the properties of file explorer. Even when I click on it, the taskbar just disappears for a couple of seconds with no other response. I also tried to navigate through the registry to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorer, but it just freezes and I can't copy anything. I can't even open the control panel! If anyone has suggestions on how to fix this, I'd really appreciate it!

Have you tried restarting your computer? Sometimes a simple restart can clear up weird issues like this. It sounds frustrating, but it might help!

Yes I did many times…nothing is working.
