Help! My GPU Won’t Fit in My Case—What Should I Do?

I'm having trouble fitting my new 5070 Ti graphics card into my PC case. It seems like a part of the case is blocking it from fully clicking into the PCIe slot. Is there any way to resolve this issue, or do I need to get a new case altogether?

If your case isn't big enough, a new case might be the best solution. You could modify the existing one, like cutting out a small piece on the side, but it might be easier just to get a case that fits. Have you tried removing the motherboard to install the GPU first? That could give you some extra space!

I’ll give that a shot! Here’s a pic of the setup: https://preview.redd.it/uq71vv02zdyf1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=72e74e342625cd31576231b7c57233821303c845

Honestly, it sounds like you’re gonna need a new case for that beast of a GPU. Those graphics cards are massive! You'll have to take apart your whole setup to switch cases, but you’ll be better off in the long run. Just make sure to pick a case that has enough room for it to fit!

I actually managed to solve the issue by removing the cable cover, but I appreciate your input!
