I'm completely new to programming and have never had the chance to learn it before. I'm looking for recommendations on online courses or programs that can help me get started. What do you suggest?

You should definitely check out the resources linked in the FAQ for beginners! It's a great starting point for learning programming online.
If you want to dive into web development, the React and Express courses on Coursera are fantastic. They teach you everything from the basics of JSX and CSS to more advanced topics like RESTful APIs and database connections. Just make sure you have some JavaScript knowledge under your belt first!
I strongly think this is a bad idea. You should learn JavaScript before you learn React. Honestly, you should probably learn some HTML and CSS beforehand as well.
I will do it thx
If you're considering programming, I'd suggest starting with C++. It lays a solid foundation and makes learning other languages easier later on. Check out The Cherno on YouTube; he has an excellent C++ series that breaks down complex topics really well!
Along with what CodingNinja42 mentioned, I recommend sites like boot.dev and freecodecamp.org. There are lots of options out there to fit your learning style, whether you're looking for structured courses or hands-on projects!
