Why is my PC build running hot?

I built my PC back in March with a budget of around $1700, sourcing everything from MicroCenter. Most games run fine, but recently I've noticed higher CPU and GPU usage and temperatures while gaming, especially in newer titles like Arc Raiders. My CPU temperatures hover around 70-80°C and the GPU temperatures are around 65-70°C. I'm aware the GPU, an ASUS GeForce RTX 4060 TI, isn't the best, and I didn't fully understand the VRAM requirements when choosing it. Here's my build: Intel I9-12900K, ASUS Z790-P Prime, G.SKill Ripjaws S5 32GB, Crucial P3 Plus 4TB NVMe, Corsair RM850e Plus Gold, Corsair Icue H150i Elite RGB 360mm cooler, and Corsair AF120 Elite High-Performance fans. For cooling, I have an AIO with three Corsair fans at the front (intake), one at the top (in), one out the back (out), and another at the bottom (in). I'm looking for feedback or suggestions on how to manage these temperatures or improve cooling. Thanks in advance!

Your temps are actually not too alarming. Thermal throttling kicks in around 95-100°C, so you’ve got some headroom. The fans running at higher speeds are just a response to the GPU and CPU hitting those mid-70s. It's definitely a good idea to monitor, but for now, there's no need to panic!

So, I shouldn't stress about it? Just checking since the fans seem to be working harder than usual.

Just a heads-up, the Intel I9-12900K is known to run hot. Even with great cooling, I see spikes up to 95°C when gaming. It’s one of those chips! Just expect higher temps with it. The newer 14900K can run even hotter!

Gotcha, sounds like it's normal for this chip. Are there better AIO coolers out there, or should I just accept the heat?
