I just had a frustrating experience selling a PC online. The buyer told me that after receiving it, the case was broken and the CPU cooler was bent. I thought I packed it securely using bubble wrap and packing peanuts to prevent any movement during shipping. I'm trying to figure out where I went wrong in my packaging and if there's a better place to sell my PC so it doesn't get damaged in transit next time. I'm worried about the possibility of being sued for this, especially since I believed I did a thorough job protecting it.

Have you thought about selling on Facebook Marketplace? It might be a better option where you can meet buyers directly and let them check the PC before purchasing. Less chance of damage that way!
It's tough to say what went wrong, but seriously consider that buyers can sometimes exaggerate the damage. If only the CPU cooler was bent and not the CPU itself, then that could have been a misunderstanding. Just be careful with how you package everything next time!

Yeah, plus that sounds like something could have happened during transit. Just keep doing your best to package it and choose your buyers wisely!
