Has anyone experienced problems with file sharing on Windows 11 Pro? I've noticed that new out-of-the-box Windows 11 Pro machines can't access each other's shares. While existing Windows 10 machines and upgraded Windows 11 devices on the same network domain can see these new shares, the brand-new Windows 11 units return an error saying the username or password is incorrect, despite using the correct credentials. I've already made adjustments to various security policies, group policies, and SMB settings, but the issue persists with both the 24H2 and 25H2 versions. Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Also, make sure you check which version of Windows Server your domain controllers are using. If you're running Server 2022, that should generally support the new Windows 11 machines, but it’s always good to confirm there aren't any compatibility issues.
It sounds like you're dealing with duplicate SIDs. I’d recommend checking the SIDs on those new devices. It’s possible the manufacturer didn’t properly sysprep the machines before shipping them out. That can lead to all sorts of network access issues, including file sharing failures.
Totally agree with the duplicate SIDs theory. If a custom image was used on these PCs and Sysprep was skipped, that could definitely cause the problem you're facing. You can look up Microsoft's documentation on Kerberos and NTLM failures due to duplicate SIDs for more details.
