Which Motherboard Should I Choose: MAG X870 or MAG X870E?

Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building my new PC and I'm considering two motherboards: the MAG X870 and the MAG X870E. There's a slight price difference, with the MAG X870E being $259.99 and the MAG X870 priced at $269.00, which is cheaper than what I could find in my country after taxes. I'm leaning towards the MAG X870, but since the E version is about $9 cheaper, I wondered if it would be worth switching. The main difference I see is that the E version doesn't share lanes for the USB 4 port. Is that the only significant difference? Also, I got a notification from PCPartPicker that my memory (TeamGroup T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB DDR5-6000) might not run at its native speed with the X870E. Is this something I need to worry about? Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

If you're considering the MAG X870E, it's definitely a solid option, especially since you get more PCIe lanes without the downside of lane sharing for the USB4 like in the X870. It's essentially the same board but with better flexibility for additional devices. Since you're looking at a small price difference, I’d say go for the E version! It's a smart choice if you want a little extra performance.

Thanks for clarifying! So I should be losing nothing by switching from X870 to X870E, just gaining those extra lanes! Do you know if I should be concerned about my memory possibly not running at its native speed? Is it just a matter of turning on EXPO in BIOS?
