I'm planning to build a new PC for playing Star Citizen since I've been away from gaming since 2021. A lot seems to have changed during that time, so I'd appreciate any advice you can offer! I already have a 2TB M.2 SSD and a monitor (though it's just 1080p for now, but I plan to upgrade later). I'm also looking into HOSAS setups and checking out various reviews from YouTubers. Here's the link to my planned build: [build link]

You might want to consider switching your PSU to this one: [Corsair SF1000](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Y4zXsY/corsair-sf1000-2024-1000-w-80-platinum-certified-fully-modular-sfx-power-supply-cp-9020257). For RAM, I’d recommend 64GB with this option: [Kingston Fury Beast RGB](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/wjFmP6/kingston-fury-beast-rgb-64-gb-2-x-32-gb-ddr5-6000-cl30-memory-kf560c30bbeak2-64). Also, check out the Challenger GPU: [ASRock Challenger Radeon RX 9070 XT](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Q8sMnQ/asrock-challenger-radeon-rx-9070-xt-16-gb-video-card-rx9070xt-cl-16g).

What's better about that PSU compared to the one I have?

That setup with the 9800X3D and the 9070XT is solid! My brother's using the same rig and he's getting over 80 FPS in Star Citizen without FSR set, all on high quality. As for HOSAS, I’ve been using the VKB Gladiator NXT Evos for about three years now and they're fantastic. The only ones that might surpass them are the Virpil ones, but they’re quite pricey.

If you can, I'd suggest waiting for the new x3d2. I'm also holding off on my build for when DDR6 drops.
