Help! My Windows Boots to a Black Screen After Login

I haven't used my computer in about five months. Now, when I boot it up and enter my password, I get a black screen with just the cursor showing. I've seen various suggested fixes, but none have worked for me. I can't get any commands like Ctrl+Alt+Del to respond, and in the advanced settings of the Windows automatic repair menu, only the command prompt option seems available. I'm looking for any suggestions on how to potentially fix this issue. Thanks in advance!

If you’re struggling with accessing Safe Mode, try turning your computer on and off a few times until you see the recovery screen. From there, you can select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings and then enable Safe Mode. This might give you better access to fix the problem.

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode? If so, you can use a program called DDU to uninstall your graphics drivers. Once that's done, restart your computer in normal mode and see if that helps. It sounds like something is freezing up and blocking Windows from fully booting. If you can't figure out the issue, you might need to consider reinstalling Windows altogether. Also, check your network connection. Sometimes an app or even malware could be hanging on waiting for that connection.
