Hey everyone! I built my PC back in late 2017, and besides replacing a broken GPU and adding some RAM, I haven't upgraded anything else yet. My current setup is showing its age, and I'm looking for some advice on how to improve it, especially for gaming, particularly with Battlefield 6. Here's what I've got:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 2400G (4 core, 3.6 GHz)
- **Motherboard:** ASUS PRIME A320M-K (AM4 socket)
- **RAM:** 16GB DDR4 2133MHz Corsair (2x8GB)
- **GPU:** NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (4GB)
- **SSD:** Kingston SA400 240GB SATA
- **HDD 1:** Seagate 1TB
- **HDD 2:** Seagate 1TB
- **Power Supply:** Corsair VS550 (550W)
- **Case:** Zalman Z11
- **Cooler:** Stock AMD

I'm planning to upgrade to:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9700X (8 core, 2024)
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX (AM5)
- **RAM:** 32GB DDR5 6000MHz Corsair Vengeance
- **SSD:** WD_BLACK SN7100 1TB NVMe
- **Cooler:** Arctic Freezer 36
- **GPU:** RTX 4060 Ti or RTX 5060.

Thanks for your help!

Honestly, if you're set on the RTX 4060 Ti or 5060, you might want to check out the RX 9060 XT with 16GB. If you can find a good deal on the 4060 Ti, that's great, but be wary of the 8GB version; it might not be worth it considering the newer games coming out.

For your CPU, you might want to consider switching to a Ryzen 5 9600X; it’s often cheaper and delivers great performance. As for a GPU, look for something that has at least 16GB of VRAM. That will help you future-proof your system, especially with gaming in mind!

But is the 9600X really better? I’ve heard mixed things about GPUs with 16GB. What would you recommend?
