Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from a GT 730 to an RTX 3060 12 GB, and I want to ensure it will be compatible with my current setup before I make the purchase. Here are my specs: CPU is a Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, currently using the GT 730 but planning to switch to the RTX 3060, and I have 8 GB of DDR4 RAM (looking to upgrade soon). My motherboard is an ASRock A320M/AC, I have an iBUYPOWER Element Mini 167A case, and I'm planning to get a new 650 W power supply. Will the RTX 3060 fit and work well with my motherboard, CPU, and case? I'm a little worried about potential size, power needs, and PCIe compatibility since my setup is a bit older. Any advice or tips before I upgrade would be greatly appreciated—thanks!

It looks like everything checks out! Just make sure you invest in a quality PSU, as not all power supplies are created equal. It's crucial for stability when upgrading your GPU.
Keep in mind, your motherboard won't support memory overclocking, so check the Qualified Vendors List (QVL) before upgrading RAM. Also, your PCIe will be gen 3, so try to make sure all 16 lanes are reserved for the graphics card if possible—avoid overspending on a new motherboard if you’re not planning to upgrade.
Okay, I'll keep that in mind. Thank you!
Just wanted to say that overall, you'll have a really balanced setup, which is fantastic! It should serve you well with that RTX 3060.
Thank you, I appreciate that!
