Should I Upgrade My GPU?

Hey everyone! I think my PC is pretty decent, but I'm weighing the pros and cons of upgrading my GPU. Here are my specs: I'm running a Gigabyte Aorus Elite V2 motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU, a Gigabyte Eagle Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, and I've got 64GB of DDR4 RAM at 3600MT/s from Corsair, along with a Corsair RM1000e full modular PSU and around 5TB of SSD storage. I realize my RAM might be overkill, but I got a good deal on it. I mainly play graphic-intensive games at 1440p, and I've been feeling the pinch with my 8GB of VRAM. With Black Friday and Cyber Monday coming up, I'm considering upgrading to an RTX 5080 if there's a good sale. What do you all think? Is it worth it?

If you're looking for better performance and can afford it, then sure, an upgrade makes sense! Just keep in mind that the 5070 Ti generally offers better value and has the same VRAM as the 5080.

I was actually considering the 5070 Ti too, but the price difference is only $200-$300 compared to the 5080 depending on the model. Not sure if the performance trade-off is worth it.
