Is It a Good Idea to Buy My Brother’s Old PC for €500?

Hey everyone! My brother just built a new PC, and he's selling me his old one from 2020 for €500. I'm not very savvy with computers, so I'm unsure if this is a fair deal. Here are the specs he provided:

- AMD Ryzen 7 3700x (8-core, 3.60GHz)
- RTX 2070 Super (8GB)
- 32GB RAM
- 1TB SSD (Samsung 970 EVO Plus) and 2TB HDD (Seagate)
- He mentioned he upgraded the fan for about €100.

I plan to use it for moderate gaming on a 1440p monitor, but I'm not looking for top-tier graphics, just decent fps. Is this a good deal or should I skip it? Thanks!

Honestly, I’d pass on this deal. For 1440p gaming, that setup might struggle big time in 2025, even at that price.

What if I just aim for 1080p? I'm not really into building my own PC, so I'm more inclined to go for this one.
