Why is my PC shutting down too quickly?

Hey everyone! I'm dealing with a frustrating issue where my PC is shutting down way too fast. It seems like it's so efficient that it's not allowing certain programs, like OBS and Philips Hue sync, to close properly before the shutdown. This leads to some glitches—OBS often shows a message that it didn't shut down correctly and my LED lights don't turn off sometimes, requiring me to handle it manually. I've even tried extending the shutdown time to 15 seconds, but it hasn't helped. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions for this?

It's interesting that you're experiencing this. Usually, when you shut down, Windows gives all running programs a chance to close down properly. If a program takes longer or if there’s a prompt (like a save dialog), Windows will pause the shutdown to let you interact with those prompts. If your PC clears them too quickly without giving enough time, something might be off. Have you checked your power settings or any background tasks that might interfere?

I actually looked at the power settings already, but didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. However, I’ll keep that in mind and maybe check for updates or conflicts with other programs.
