Hey everyone! I'm about to build my first PC and I'm looking to get some feedback on the parts I've chosen, especially concerning the motherboard. I want to know if the MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI is sufficient for my needs or if I should consider upgrading to a B850 model instead. My primary use will be gaming, with some light programming mainly in Unity. I really appreciate any suggestions or improvements for my build! Here's the parts list:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE 66.17 CFM
- **Motherboard**: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
- **Storage**: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 4 TB M.2 NVME SSD
- **Video Card**: Gainward Phoenix-S GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB
- **Case**: Fractal Design North XL ATX Full Tower Case
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM850x 850 W Fully Modular
- **Case Fans**: ARCTIC P14 Pro PST 140 mm Fans (5-Pack)
- **Monitor**: Dell Alienware AW3425DW 34.2" Curved 240 Hz
Total cost is around €2264.20. Thanks in advance for your help!

I think your SSD is a bit overkill for most users, but if you plan on dual-booting with Linux later, having those extra slots available is a smart move!
Your motherboard is solid for gaming, and unless you really need more ports or storage options, you might not need to upgrade to B850. There are cheaper options too that can save you some cash!

Haha, true! It’s a good strategy for future upgrades. Thanks for your input!
