I'm in need of a remote monitoring program that can check CPU usage, remaining storage space, RAM usage, and let me know if a machine is online. I'm open to paying per machine as long as it's affordable and easy to set up. I've tried using Prometheus, but I found it too complicated for my needs. Ideally, I'm looking for something with an Android app that can send alerts if a system goes offline, a drive fails, or if CPU usage becomes too high. Simplicity in setup is my top priority. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you're after something really straightforward! You could check out Simple Observability; it matches what you described pretty closely with everything pre-set, including basic alerts.
Yeah, both options have easy setup processes. You decide the alerts you want, and it all gets going without needing your own server. Definitely worth trying out!
You might want to consider using Zabbix or a combination of SNMP with MRTG for monitoring. They can handle what you're looking for fairly well.
If you're looking for something plug-and-play, give PRTG a look. It’s another solid option for monitoring without complex setups.

Pulseway and Site24x7 could also suit your needs. With Pulseway, you just sign up, install their agent on each machine, and then use the Android app to set your alert thresholds. It’s quick to set up and very user-friendly.
