I'm looking to put together a wishlist for training courses and certifications that I should pursue as a sysadmin for the upcoming year. I've already requested ESET XDR training, but I'm curious about what else I can ask for. To give you an idea of my responsibilities, I handle 1st level support, manage and create Group Policies, work within the Microsoft ecosystem (basically everything in the admin center), and deal with ESET EDR, MDR, and XDR. I also manage user access, prep new computers and phones, onboard new users, and juggle a variety of tasks due to my expanding responsibilities. What are some good courses or certifications that would benefit my role?

For anyone involved in a Microsoft environment, I strongly recommend at least getting the Windows Hybrid Administrator certification. It's essential foundational knowledge that surprisingly many sysadmins lack. You might also want to check out the Network+ certification; it covers crucial networking concepts that are beneficial whether you officially hold the certification or not.

What do you think about the AZ-900 or AZ-104 certifications? Are they worth pursuing?
