My Computer Crashes When Playing Games or Using Zoom – Need Help!

I've been having a rough time with my computer lately. It crashes every time I try to open games like Fortnite or Roblox, often showing error codes like UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION (0x154) or sometimes even Critical Process Died (0xEf). I've done a bunch of troubleshooting already: I ran sfc /scannow, tried Windows Memory Diagnostics, checked if fast startup was enabled (it was disabled), and reinstalled my Nvidia driver. I also installed AMD Ryzen Master and ran a diagnostic on my Samsung SSD, but everything looks fine. The freezes sometimes happen during Zoom too, and it just hangs on the message about needing to restart while not actually doing anything. I've got a list of all the stop codes if that would help anyone diagnose the issue further!

It sounds like you might have an issue with your storage device, specifically the OS one. If you have mini dumps available, we can look at those for more clues. They’re usually in the C:WindowsMinidump folder. Just copy that folder to your desktop, zip it up, and upload it to a site like catbox.moe so we can check it out.

There's nothing in the minidump folder, which is strange.

If the minidump folder is empty, it might be helpful to do a full system reset while keeping your files. I suggest that as a next step.
