Has anyone encountered a sudden wave of external power supply failures? We've seen our DVR, an IP phone router, and a UPS all fail within just 1-2 weeks, and they're located in different buildings, so it doesn't seem tied to an overall power outage. While it might just be a coincidence, like Garak from Deep Space Nine, I can't help but wonder if there's more to it and if I should be looking for patterns before attributing it to chance.

Just a thought—are your buildings on the same transformer? You might want to check the power quality. There are devices that can monitor this if you want to dig deeper.
I considered that, but I’m also curious if something like increased solar activity could be a factor? Whether it's life just happening or something more peculiar, I’ll keep looking into it!
