My PC Keeps Restarting When Trying to Install Windows 11 – Help!

I've been having some serious trouble with my PC. After encountering a blue screen, I tried to get things back on track, but now my computer keeps getting stuck in a restart loop when trying to install Windows 11. The installation hangs and reboots around 73-79%. I even replaced my SSD, swapping out the Samsung 970 EVO Plus for a new WD Black SN7100 NVMe, thinking the SSD might have been corrupted, but I'm still having the same issue. My BIOS recognizes the drive without any problems, so I'm at a loss here. I've been trying to solve this for the past two days and I'm getting pretty frustrated. Any advice?

Make sure you're wiping the SSD before proceeding with the Windows installation. If you're not, it could lead to problems since you'll be trying to do an overwrite install instead of a fresh one. Check your RAM with a diagnostic tool, and ensure your BIOS is set to AHCI mode. Also, double-check your internet connection with an ethernet cable to grab necessary drivers during the install. If it's still looping, try removing the USB drive after the first reboot or adjust its priority in the boot order.

Have you tried creating a new bootable USB with a different operating system, like Windows 10 or even a Linux distro? This can help you identify if the issue is software-related. Sometimes, the installation media can get corrupted, leading to these loops.

Before anything else, make sure to check if there are any dump files available for analysis in C:WindowsMinidump. These files can give insight into the BSODs you're encountering. If you can get into Windows Safe Mode, that would be ideal for accessing those. Upload them to a file sharing site and let others help you diagnose the issue.

You're definitely not alone in this! My PC was stuck in a similar loop, and it turned out that the installer USB was corrupted. Even after a clean install, I kept looping back to the installer. Recreating the USB on a different drive fixed it for me, so I'd recommend trying that!
