Could you share which model or brand your new SSD is? For instance, if it's a Samsung SSD, they have a tool called 'Magician' that can help with cloning your drive. If you haven't cloned your old drive to the new one yet, that's likely why you're seeing the boot error. You might need to do a clean install of Windows and then restore your backup.

I have a WD Black SSD. I'm a bit of a novice, but I copied everything to my external drive and tried booting from that. Am I missing something important or doing something wrong?
