Is it safe to completely wipe all drives after upgrading my CPU and GPU?

I recently upgraded my CPU and GPU and I'm thinking about completely wiping all my drives (both SSDs and HDDs) for a fresh start. I'm a bit worried, though, about any potential issues that might come up, like driver problems or Windows license complications. Can I just reinstall Windows 11 and wipe everything without running into any issues?

If you're switching to a new setup but had Windows 11 installed before, you can just boot from your installation media. If you want a fresh install, make sure to install all the latest updates afterwards. I'd recommend using Rufus to create a bootable USB from the Windows 11 ISO you download from Microsoft. It’s pretty straightforward!

As long as your Windows key is linked to your Microsoft account, you shouldn't have any issues—just log back in after reinstalling. If not, you may need to reactivate Windows. Another option is to reset Windows from inside the OS; that way, your activation key stays intact while everything else gets wiped.

Yeah, I agree! Just make sure you're logged into your MS account before wiping everything.

Good point! Just be careful about data backup before doing any major wipe.
