I'm using a Moto E4 Plus with Android 7.1 to play calming music for my son at bedtime. However, it randomly stops playing in the middle of the night, and I can't figure out why. The playlist is pretty long—around 10 hours—and he usually goes to sleep at 9 PM. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

It sounds like a frustrating problem! If the music cuts out at the same time every night, it might be related to the phone's power-saving settings or something that happens when the device becomes inactive. I'd recommend checking both the phone's power settings and Spotify's settings to see if there's anything that could cause it. Also, since you're using an older phone for this, keep in mind that leaving it plugged in all night can be risky for lithium batteries, in case you decide to try that.
Spotify can behave differently depending on whether you're on a free or premium account, and they frequently update the app too. Since you're on a family plan, you should have the premium features. However, if you're using the same tracks constantly, you might want to consider downloading your favorite songs as MP3s and using a dedicated music player app instead. This way, you won't have to rely on an internet connection, and you can keep it in airplane mode for extra security.
Thanks for the suggestion! I will think about getting some MP3s.

It's not plugged in overnight; I only charge it once a week since it’s solely for Spotify. I haven't found anything in the settings yet, but I'll dig deeper into the app.
