Should I Stick Around Just for the Paycheck?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice from more seasoned developers out there. I've been in the industry for about 10 years, mostly at a small company where I picked up some useful skills with SQL, PHP, HTML, and a bit of Objective Pascal. I eventually moved on to a higher-paying job, which has a good salary and a great team, but the work is dull. We're mainly just maintaining one system using SQL and Objective Pascal, and after two years, I feel like my professional growth has stagnated. I'm often tired and burnt out. So my question is: Is it worth staying in a well-paying job that doesn't challenge me or contribute to my development? Appreciate any insights!

Honestly, I wouldn’t stay. You’re in this for the long haul, and burning out this early can be harmful. Use your current job as a cushion to find a better one, and jump ship once you find it!

Thanks for your input! I'm planning to start job hunting after summer.

I think it's fine to stay for now while you look for something better. Just take your time and be selective about your next move.
