Having Trouble Getting Steam to Work on AntiX

I've installed Steam on my AntiX distro, and it was running fine for a bit while playing Gmod. But now, whenever I try to click 'play' or open it directly, it boots up and then stops. I've also had similar issues with games like Paradox Soul and Wobbledogs, which have never worked. Plus, Wine has never functioned for me either, no matter what I've attempted. Is there any fix for this?

AntiX is one of the lightest GUI distros out there, but it might be lacking some necessary components right out of the box. For Gmod, the current requirements specify at least a 4GB system, so hopefully, you meet that. A suggestion is to try running Gmod on a BigLinux live installer instead, since it has Steam pre-installed and might work better for your setup.

I tried the live installer, but it won't install. I clicked the install button and picked all the options, but nothing seems to work!
