I'm considering an upgrade from my Gigabyte 3070 and looking at two options: a Sapphire Pure 9070 XT priced at CAD$999 and a Gigabyte 5070 Ti for $1099. Is it worth paying the extra $100 to stick with Nvidia? Currently, I'm gaming at 1080p, and my setup includes a 5800X processor and 32GB of RAM. I appreciate any insights!

I'd say the 5070 Ti is the better card; it's about 10% faster than the 9070 XT. Considering the price difference, they’re pretty similar overall.
The 5070 Ti does outperform the 9070 XT, coming in at around a 7% speed increase. So, it kind of justifies that extra price tag. Choose based on what brand you prefer!
If you're playing at 1080p, I'd lean towards the 9070 XT. It’s really powerful at that resolution, and you might not benefit much from Nvidia's DLSS features.
Both graphics cards offer great performance for their price. I personally opted for the 5070 Ti and have been really pleased with how it performs overall.
Definitely leaning towards the 5070 Ti!

Where do you see a 10% difference? I checked TechPowerUp, and they say the 5070 Ti is only about 4% faster on average, which aligns with other benchmarks I've seen.
