I'm trying to decide between two graphics cards: the RTX 5070, which costs about 500€, and the RX 9070XT, priced at around 650€. I don't play very demanding games, so I'm curious which card would be the better choice for my situation. Considering my budget constraints, I'd prefer to go for the cheaper option since almost anything would be an upgrade from my 5 to 6-year-old RX 5700XT. Any thoughts?

If money's tight, saving 150€ on the RTX 5070 is an easy choice. It’s still a solid card, and the performance difference just isn’t worth that much extra cash, especially if you’re gaming at 1080p. Unless you're really craving those extra frames, stick with the cheaper option!
Personally, I’d argue that the extra VRAM and potential performance boost of the 9070XT might be worth it, but yeah, with the price difference, you really have to consider your essentials. Honestly, if you're doing fine with 1080p gaming on a 200Hz monitor, the 5070 should serve you well without breaking the bank.
Honestly, if you're looking for solid performance without overspending, I think you should also check out options like the RX 9060XT, but I'd still lean towards the RTX 5070. It’s better balanced overall compared to the 9060XT, which really lags behind in performance, even with more VRAM.

Exactly! You have to prioritize what matters—food and bills come first. Gaming can wait if it means staying afloat.
