I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, but my motherboard has some limitations and won't support the more popular x3d models. I currently have an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, and the options I can consider are: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, and AMD Ryzen 9 5900X. I'm focusing on running games like Tarkov, and I'd prefer not to go for the most expensive choice, the 5900X. What would you recommend as the best option? Thanks in advance!

I went with a prebuilt HP Hana 8876, and I know it's limited in terms of compatibility. I'm trying to learn the ropes of upgrades! That's why I'm looking into maximizing my current setup while being mindful of costs.
If I were you, I'd go for the 5800X. It's an excellent chip for gaming performance and should help significantly with your needs. By the way, what GPU are you currently using?
Have you checked what motherboard you have? The 5700X could be a strong choice too. However, I wonder if it might not be supported even with a BIOS update, depending on your motherboard model. If you're rocking a 300 series board, you might be out of luck for some newer chips.
