Hey everyone! I'm new to PC gaming and I'm having some serious issues with my setup. Here are the specs: I'm running a Ryzen 5 7600 CPU, paired with an AMD Radeon RX 7600 GPU, and I've got 16 GB of RAM. My motherboard is an ASRock A620M-C, and I use Wi-Fi 6E for internet connectivity. Sadly, I'm not quite sure about the power supply, but I think it's around 800-850 watts. I'm using AMD Adrenaline, but I'm still learning the ropes.
My main problems are:
1. Fortnite lags heavily and crashes soon after loading, even with low graphics settings.
2. I can't open servers in Rust; it either loads and then kicks me out or crashes my PC entirely.
3. When my PC crashes, I often can't reconnect to the internet; the Wi-Fi option disappears.
Things I've already tried include updating my GPU drivers, clearing Fortnite's cache, reinstalling Windows 11, reinstalling Fortnite and Discord, and enabling Secure Boot in BIOS. I've done a few other minor tweaks too.
Any advice to fix these issues or tips for PC gaming overall? What do you wish you knew when starting out?

Have you checked if your BIOS firmware is up to date? Sometimes the BIOS can really affect system performance and stability. If it needs updating, let me know if you need guidance on how to do that!
Your specs are solid, but we really need to know your storage drives too. Use the Task Manager while gaming to see what your system load is like during crashes. Are you sure your RAM sticks are in the right slots? Both should be in the 2nd and 4th slots for optimal performance.
Good call! I added my storage info in the post. I have a 1TB SSD with about 250GB free. I’ll keep an eye on the CPU and GPU loads, and I'll check the RAM placement.
