Is there a Windows-like control panel for Linux?

I just made the switch to Linux and I'm curious if Zorin or any other distro offers a control panel similar to what Windows has. I'm finding it confusing to manage certain settings that I could easily handle on Windows, like adjusting the power plan or uninstalling applications. Is there an inbuilt tool or something I can download to help with this?

You should definitely look for an app called "Settings" on your distro. It’s usually pre-installed in Zorin and lets you tweak various system settings. There should also be an app named "Software" or something similar for managing applications like installation and uninstallation.

It really depends on the desktop environment you're using. For instance, KDE Plasma has a feature called 'System Settings' that offers a pretty comprehensive control panel experience. If you're using a different environment, let me know and I can guide you better!

If you're using OpenSUSE, you might want to check out YaST, but keep in mind that it's being phased out. For Zorin, you can find a lot of useful information at their help page: help.zorin.com, which is super helpful for beginners.
